Washington National Cathedral - An Insider’s View

One of the most beautiful churches in Washington and sixth largest cathedral in the world, Washington National Cathedral offers great opportunities for exterior and interior architectural photography. Our safari begins with an orientation by architectural photographer E. David Luria and by Cathedral docent and acclaimed photographer Andy Bittner. We are then led by Mr. Bittner to locations inside the Cathedral not open to the public, such as the upper balconies and the rooftop gutters, and we teach you how (and how not) to photograph stained glass windows and church interiors without flash. We then move outdoors to catch architecturally correct exterior views of the Cathedral.
