For those of us who love to take pictures, it is VERY hard to be confronted with a visual culinary delight in a fancy restaurant and not take a picture! In this Safari, you’ll learn how to photograph food, and then, you’ll get to EAT it!

“Washington Photo Safari was (and is) invaluable to me in developing my photographic skills. Every time I go out on a Safari, I learn something new. I think I’ve been on four or five in the last couple of years. David Luria is a great instructor, and is immeasurably patient. You will definitely take better vacation photos!”

“Thank you again, David for the class yesterday. It’s definitely taken away my fear, and reduced my ignorance about using F-stops and shutter speeds. I feel ready to practice now and get more proficient. I’m sure I’ll be enrolling in more of your Safaris.”

“Thank you SO MUCH for such a diversified Safari itinerary. The locations you selected for us to practice our photography were excellent. Although I am a native Washingtonian, I admit I rarely travel downtown to view all of the wonderful monuments and museums. I commuted downtown for more years than I care to remember, so it was very refreshing to view the city through the eyes of a tourist rather than a commuuter. You were very patient and shared a wealth of information with all of us, which I will be sure to practice. I am learning to trust my own judgment and not leave the camera on “automatic,” especially since its the latest and greatest in digital photography. I certainly felt I got my money’s worth from this Safari. Keep up the good work!”

“I just love your photo Safaris. They get my husband out of the house so I can get some work done!”

“I have taken 3 classes from Washington Photo Safari and all have been excellent. The first, Monuments and Memorials I would suggest for anyone visiting the capital. The information about the monuments is insightful; the instruction on how to photograph them will help anyone enjoy the trip long after returning home. The other two classes were more technical, great for us who live in the area.”
