ATTENTION! The US Botanic Gardens is putting on a special treat for the holiday season, and we will be there to capture it in our cameras!
Come join architectural photographer E. David Luria as he guides you through the Conservatory to photograph the Garden Express train exhibit, a model train that wends its way past small models of the Capitol, the Washington Monument, the garden conservatory, Fords Theater and Capitol Hill rowhouses, with all the scale models made from natural materials. This year, there is a new model on display: The Museum of African American History and Culture! We will then photograph the rest of the Botanic Gardens floral displays and then go outside to photograph the US Capitol at twilight.
Meet outside US Botanic Gardens at 1st St and Maryland Ave SW on National Mall. Closest Metro is Federal Center (NOT Federal Triangle) on Blue/Orange/Silver Line.
