Photography at the International Pillow Fight
Join us for this annual event as we cautiously wedge our way among the pillow fighters with our cameras, shooting with fast shutter speeds on continuous mode, to get those exciting shots of silly adults acting like children with pillows!
So, in addition to your cherry blossoms photos, this DC photo safari will fill your social media portfolio with the next best thing: fluffy white pillow stuffings!
This is a photo class in sports photography, and after the pillow fight it will be followed by a walk around the Mall to photograph DC in the spring! There will be instruction on travel photography at each step along the way by professional architectural photographer and Washington Photo safari director E. David Luria. Any camera is fine, including smartphones, but we recommend DSLR cameras with rapid shooting capability, wide angle to telephoto zoom lenses, like 18-270 or 16-300mm and adjustable shutter speeds and lens hoods to protect your camera against flying pillows.
