Planning a trip to France? Here is your chance to learn how to come away with exciting people images! Washington Photo Safari is pleased to offer a new safari – Street photography with a French accent, led by our professional Street Photography instructor, Alain Gutierrez!
The 23rd Anneal Georgetown French Market takes place on April 25, featuring over 40 local boutiques and restaurants along Wisconsin Ave N.W. (O St to Reservoir Rd). The event offers 50%–75% off sidewalk sales, French cuisine (crepes, pastries, wine), live music, and family entertainment like stilt walkers and a mime.
Here is a great opportunity to capture people enjoying themselves at a street market – haggling with vendors, getting their faces painted, enjoying French delicacies that are for sale at little booths along the strip from Q street to Reservoir Road on Wisconsin Avenue.
And you don’t have to worry about invading people’s privacy because the Georgetown French market website itself clearly states that anybody attending the festival may be photographed.
