Annapolis is one of the prettiest towns in the US and is the capital of Maryland, known as the Sailing Capital of the World. Since it was first settled in 1649, the commercial and social life of this beautiful small city has been centered on its picturesque harbor, which is also a major tourist attraction.
This photo Safari, led by professional photographer Eddie Arrossi, will discover the beauty of the State Capital and other historic buildings on State Circle, a ramble around City Dock, a walk up Main Street, and a foray across Spa Creek into Eastport, with its vistas of downtown Annapolis, the Naval Academy, and the Chesapeake Bay, all in evening light.
Eddie will go over understanding your camera and techniques for urban and landscape photography to take advantage of the historically significant buildings, cityscapes and social life. Eddie will also lead you to lots of opportunities for abstracts, use of F stops for blurred or sharpened backgrounds, closeups, and other creative resources including posing people or capturing urban scenes. You’ll be pointing your lenses at things that only a trained eye will see and capture. giving you techniques for capturing unique images, skills that will make all your future travel photography more interesting and colorful.
Your Annapolis safari guide will be Eddie Arrossi, a professional from Argentina who lives in Annapolis for 10 years and who owns a renowned photography studio specialized in corporate event photography Eddie is also a travel photographer and sailor and will share his experience with you by taking you to the best photo locations and showing you the best picture angles during your Annapolis Safari.
Parking is available along City Dock in front of Starbucks with coin-operated parking meters. More parking is available in a lot a block further on Dock Street using Pay to Park machines that issue tickets parkers post inside their cars. Those meters accept credit cards as well as cash.

Eddie Arrossi is an independent photographer in the Washington DC area specializing in photojournalism, weddings, and corporate events who covers local news events for the Spanish New Agency EFE. Raised in Argentina, Eddie began his work at age 16 and became one of the more prominent travel photographers in Buenos Aires, developing a large portfiolio of images that appear on post cards and travel books sold throughout Argentina’s capital city and at Iguacu Falls. He has also photographed extensively on his travels to Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Brazil, the UK, Holland and the Czech Republic. Now a resident of Bowie, MD since 2002, Eddie frequently serves as an instructor for Washington Photo Safari. His work can be seen at his website www.eaphoto.com.
