Quick Details
The Inner Harbor in nearby Baltimore is a treasure trove of photogenic delights. Beginning at the National Katyn Memorial, where the light hits the sculpture and makes it shine beautifully, we will walk around the Inner Harbor, shooting the port scenes, the sailboats, the colorful water taxis, the architecture, the replica USS Constitution, the restaurants and shops, the Chesapeake Lightship, the National Aquarium, and the USS Torsk, a World War II submarine and people.
This is a great place and opportunity to learn and practice the techniques of travel, street, architecture and night photography with professional photographer Alain Gutierrez.
Just before sunset, the light makes the colors pop and gives us lots of chances to make beautiful images.
Learn how to control your camera, how to find the images and how to capture the scenery. We will start with a 15-20 minute orientation on camera settings, lens usage, angles, composition and white balance. The goal is to learn how to work in Manual Mode and with tripods.
