Morning visits will include horse farms, a repurposed 1950’s general store, with memorabilia on the front porch and Daisy Mae, a rusting old red pickup. We will also shoot inside an old barn that contains all sorts of old farm tools.

In the afternoon, we will photograph some of the buildings on the Monocacy Battlefield and an old cemetery overlooking a large, well-preserved wood barn with endless photographic possibilities for abstracts and textures. We then make a loop through the verdant rolling hills and upper farmland of Frederick County to shoot the three very picturesque extant covered bridges and the creeks they cross.

There are also several other stops to shoot barns and picturesque landscapes.

Photography techniques taught on this Safari will include abstracts, telephoto, landscapes and creative use of light for good composition.

Lunch is included in the cost of the Safari.
