All transportation for photography will be provided.

Accommodations for this trip will be at the Scarborough Inn, Manteo NC.

This is a small, privately owned hotel, that is very comfortable, with a little local charm. Rooms will be reserved by the workshop leader and paid by Participants upon arrival (room price is not included in the workshop cost). Approximate cost is $115 per night, rooms will be booked for 5 nights (weds – sun nights). We will start out each day from the hotel.
Mid-October can be transitional season for weather in the Outer Banks, with warm days and chilly mornings. As we get closer to the dates you will receive emails with advice on what to pack.

This workshop can use your whole range of photographic equipment. A telephoto lens of 400mm or longer is highly recommended for the bears and birds, Sean can help with advice for renting a lens if you need to. A good wide angle to short telephoto zoom will help with the landscapes, as well as a polarizing filter. The instructor can help with any gear advice and a suggested list will be sent out after you register.

This workshop has room for a maximum of 5 participants.

Registration deadline is September 20, 2021
