WPS Reaches Historic Milestone!

David Luria at work

On June 30th, WPS Founder and Director E. David Luria announced “Today, thanks to our clients, we are proud to announce that we have just conducted the 6,000th photo safari WPS has offered since we began operations in 1999! (It took place with hard-to-get Panda Passes at the Smithsonian National Zoo!)

That’s an average of 5 safaris every week, just 6-7 clients per safari, for 22.5 years, training 39,200 people from 50 states and 53 countries in 186 different sites located in 30 cities in 11 U.S. states and 8 countries around the world, or about 5 clients every day, 365 days a year!

“On behalf of our instructors and staff, we are most grateful to all our clients,” Luria continued, “for the hundreds of 5-star reviews they have given us over the years for their training in 29 different types of photography! And let me send a special shout-out to our 12,000+ repeat customers, many of whom have been on as many as 10-15 safaris apiece.

As teachers, we get a big kick out of those “Aha!” moments experienced by our clients when they have discovered – with our help – the joy of photography!”
