Elk in Pennsylvania? You bet! PA is home to 800-900 wild free-ranging elk, centered around the town of Benezette, Mid to late September is a great time to see them, as bulls gather harems and challenge each other for breeding rights during the annual rut.

Join wildlife photographer Sean Quintilian for 2 morning and 2 evening shoots, to avoid the crowds this is a Monday and Tuesday workshop. We will arrive pre-dawn each morning to set up and listen to the elk bugle in the pre-dawn light. The morning session will last until 11 or 12, Followed by a late breakfast/lunch and a mid-day break at the hotel. We will go back out each evening for 3-4 hours.

Photography will focus on the bull elk as they bugle, strut, herd and maybe defend their harems.

Here is what one client had to say about the safari:

Sean Quintilian worked tirelessly to get us as close as possible to the PA elk! He also took us to some great fall color spots and answered questions completely. Great experience! George R. on SWELL
